The Mandurah Southern District BFB brigade will be hosting a fundraising Morning Tea at Jerramungup Green. Sunday 19th January from 9.00am to 11.30am

Even will also promote emergency services in the area so looking for 2-3 volunteers to help out and publicise Mandurah SES at the same time – most important is someone to volunteer to wear our mascot costume. Please comment if available.

Their aim is to include the local community and raise money for the fires over east. They have registered the fundraiser with the Australian Red Cross – you will find the link on the MSDBFB Facebook page.

This idea came about after their Captain, Adrian, noticed some young children fund raising by selling homemade cakes at a stall in the park. So the idea was born to include the kids and have a morning tea in the park and include our community.

So far we they are looking at cake stalls, bbq breakfast, face painting, coffee van, slippery slide, information session and booth, with the kids being able to dress up and look through a fire truck so even if not helping out please bring the family along to enjoy the day (only an hour or two)

All money raised will be donated directly to the Australian Red Cross.
